Who We Are

We are Young People's Ministries, an initiative of The United Methodist Church. We work to bring young people closer to the church and to God. We help youth and young adults become strong spiritual leaders in their congregations; we advocate for the concerns of young people around the world; we help young people work as agents of peace, justice and mercy; and we help the church embrace God's call on the lives of young people.

We work with youth (people 12-18 years old), young adults (people ages 18-30 in the U.S. and 18-40 outside of the U.S), as well as with adults who work with young people.

In addition to Global Convo, we're involved in many other projects that help young people around the world - connect with each other...and with God.

Young Adult Network - The goal of the network is to help keep young adults connected to each other and to the church in one way or another.

Devo Direct - timely and thought-provoking devotionals straight to your cell phone, twice a week.

Youth 2011 - the gathering of youth in the USA. The biggest, coolest party you've ever been too.

Grants & Scholarships - got an idea for a project? We might be able to help.

We're part of the United Methodist Church's General Board of Discipleship. There are eight of us who live and work in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
