SCHOLARSHIPS

The division currently offers two scholarships, the Richard S. Smith Scholarship and the David W. Self Scholarship, for United Methodist students entering their freshman year of college in the United States. At this time the opportunity is only available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents of the United States. We are continuing to seek new ways to help young people outside of the U.S. obtain funding.

The applications for the upcoming academic year are due no later than June 1st. The purpose of these scholarships is to aid United Methodist students who are continuing their self-development through higher education. These awards are for the first year undergraduate study, are non-renewable, and may be up to $1,000 for full-time study.
