Transforming 30 dropped out youths in Cameroon – Harbour Center Association, Bamenda Cameroon $7,500.00
Life skills training to 30 young people who have a family history of living in poverty; training will be given by youth trainers
Establishing a Fish Farm to Train Young People in Fish Farming – St. Patrick Catholic Church, Iganga, Uganda $ 3,000.00
A project that seeks to have a fish farming community with productive farms & sustainable fish seed production for employment opportunities & to reduce malnutrition
To Revitalize 150 Kom Youth in NW Region of Cameroon – Student Venture Ministry, Campus Crusade, Cameroon $ 3,000.00
Project started by the youth of Student Venture & hopes to mobilize & train 150 Kom young Christians in innovative ways in evangelism, church planting & discipleship
Faith Sharing and Outreach – MCEDO Youth Group, Nairobi Kenya $ 5,000.00
MCEDO is a non-profit, community based organization youth group that is dedicated to providing physical & spiritual care for youth, widows, orphans & the needy by providing basic necessities of life
Prospex Africa Youth Outreach – Capital Community Church Bukesa, Kampala, Uganda $ 3,000.00
A project that reaches out to youth on the street who have been neglected & help them feel loved and accepted by providing psychological, physical & spiritual needs
Living up Traditional Styles of Liturgy – Hosanna Outreach Ministry, Masaka, Uganda $ 6,000.00
The youth of Hosanna Outreach Ministries intend to transform their liturgy programs from less youth-friendly traditional worship to a more contemporary style
Team Evangelism – True North Ministry, Akron, Ohio $ 3,000.00
A program to equip young women in evangelistic outreach while behind prison walls of the Scioto Juvenile Correctional Facility in Delaware, Ohio
Student Forum “You are the Light of the World – 2011” – Youth Council, Moscow, Russia $ 7,500.00
An annual event put on by the Youth Council of NW Russia & Belarus Annual Conference with a purpose of nurturing young adult leaders for church ministry in the Eurasia UMC
Youth 2011 – DMYP, General Board of Discipleship, Nashville, Tennessee $ 15,000.00
A large youth event in two locations in the United States that will create community, deepen relationships with one another & in their personal faith journey
“Growing Up in Christ” – The NCFA Youth Mentorship Project – New Covenant Fellowship of Austin, Austin, TX $ 2,000.00
A program that will take the children’s & youth ministries to the next level by training & supporting a mentorship program between adults & young people in the church
Basketball/Cheerleading Community Outreach Ministry – Grace UMC and Grace Community Center, Ft. Meyers, Florida $ 2,000.00
A basketball/cheerleading outreach ministry which will provide opportunity for youth in the community to have structured programming lead by Christ-following youth & young adults
Hope Computer Center – Ecumenical United Methodist Leadership, Congo $ 2,500.00
A student computer center that will help empower poor people so they will become employable and self sufficient
Stop and Think: Creating a Peaceful Community in Rogers Park – United Church of Rogers Park, UMC, Chicago, Illinois $ 3,500.00
Youth lead violence prevention programs for children in the Rogers Park neighborhood. Youth are trained in the Second Step program and will teach weekly lessons to children
