Guess what!  I just received an email update about the Virginia Conference Youth Rally that I wanted to share with you.  I love hearing what you are doing in your local UMC &/or at annual conference events to strengthen and encourage youth in the church.  There was a youth rally that had over 100 youth and adults in attendance, which is the most they’ve had to date – congrats on that!  The other info is:

In addition to raising money for YSF, we collected 5 boxes of school supplies for the Henry Fork Service Center in Rocky Mount, VA and packaged 120 health kits which are being taken to Sager Brown Depot in Louisiana.  Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we had 3 churches come who had never attended before…

AND they raised $600 to go toward YSF!!   the more money we receive for the Youth Service Fund, the more projects and people we’re able to help around the world.  so thank you for everything you do – thank you for YSF but also just for the way you are investing in your community.
