Youth Service Fund numbers are in!

As February flies by, i wanted to let you know what conferences and jurisdictions raised the most money for Youth Service Fund in 2010.  When you or your youth group donate money for YSF, it goes toward helping people in different parts of the world do things like: renovating  houses for people who are in desperate need, start a computer lab business in parts of the world where internet use is a luxury, an after-school tutoring program, traveling theater and choir groups that teach lessons about Christ through the arts, a family style meal once a week for homeless teenagers…it goes on and on.  So when you give money, YOU are doing ministry.  That $5 offering you gave to YSF is making a big difference in people’s lives.  I’d love to talk more about Youth Service Fund if you are interested.  But back to the original point:

THE CONFERENCE THAT DONATED $9,052.34 IN 2010 IS……………….. HOLSTON!

and THE JURISDICTION THAT DONATED THE MOST MONEY, COMING IN AT $20,346.61 IS……..

SOUTH CENTRAL!!!

thank you all so much for your giving.  please contact me (ssmith@gbod.org; 615-340-7184) with any questions you have!
